Why does every article seem to turn into a debate? It was simply about Michael's kids accepting an award in his honor. Why do people need to post comments about his parents and brothers, or the color of his children? You all talk like you know the family personally when it is all speculation. Just because his brothers are not singing does not mean that they are broke. Even if they were, after Michael's death the Jackson 5 songs hit the top of the charts. So, I would say they received royalties from that. I can't say what his other brothers are doing, but I know that Marlon has been a businessman for some time. The rumor mill had all of his brothers living at home with their mother, but if you've been listening, most of them live in different states. It seems like some people are at their happiest point when they think others are doing bad. I'm sure the Jackson family would give up all the money if they could have their son and brother back. I would not expect any of you to agree with me though.

YES, I AGREE THAT GERMAINE IS A NUT-HE NEVER WAS ABLE TO ACHIEVE MUCH FAME AFTER MICHEAL WENT OUT ON HIS OWN. i truely believe that if micheal jackson did molest children the fbi woould have filed charges, they looked into all the allegations and apparantly the molestation charges were unfounded, the true criminals were the extortionists who brought the charges against him to gain millions. I can not understand how people can treat each other like this. Even in death, we still hear about these charges, leave the man alone in death like you never left him when he was alive. I truely miss him being in this universe, he not only gave to many charities to help people, he also gave much of his time to help people, some of them were probably the same ones who made up stories for their own personal gain. God Bless the kids who call Micheal Jackson 'Daddy'. And I feel sorry for them because they have to live with the Jackson Brothers who have always been jealous of Micheal and who now want to make money off the brother they never helped but who always helped them.

ugh some of the comments here are so uncalled for. To the creeps who keep bringing up the *pedo* accusations, do you think he would have admitted to sharing a bed with children if he was a *pedo*

MJ was a very strong willed yet very vulnerable man and a few people with no morals knew that they could take advantage of this amazing mans kindness and oh boy they certianly didn't disapoint. Had it not been for the allegations then MJ would have continued to enjoy his ridiculous level of fame and would have been a very happy man for the rest of his life with three wonderful children to watch grow up into good well mannered citizens.

Sadly though the media didn't give a hoot about him or his family and decided to make the allegations and the trial public and as a result this ruined his life forever. If this wasn't insulting enough to this fine example of a great man, the fact that even after he had been PROVEN innocent many people still wanted to believe he was a monster who harmed children topped it off. It just goes to show you that the unlimited power of the media can destroy absolutely anybody they want to.

Well I am very happy that MJ's kids will be protected by their fathers many millions of dollars while some of the cruel wicked people commenting here struggle along with bills and continue to post foul repulsive trash.

There were in the backseat for so many years, broke as he!!, and now coming out under the pretext of “keeping their brother’s legacy alive.” Newsflash: MJ’s legacy lives on forever, with or without you bunch of jealous-opportunist bunch. Just read the FBI files for yourself nothing after at least 10 years of investigating nothing. They actually cut articles out of tabloids and called that their files. You can find them on the FBI web site.

Jackson never molested anyone which is of course why no evidence was ever found.

Michael was an amazing performer, and spectacular human being with a great giving, loving spirit!! His children will be reflecting this love and gratefulness of their wonderful, giving inspirational father!! If his children are happy receiving a lifetime achievent award given to this amazing man and if they are happy to be apart of this to-be spectacular 3D tribute, then Michael will be happy as well!!! RIP, MJ!!!! A man who loved all!!

All they have to have is one drop of black blood in them and they are black.
Look at Obama, he's half black in truth, but everyone calls him the first African American president. However when he was growing up as Barry, he was a biracial kid in Hawaii. Other famous half black famous people include Halle Barry, Yannick Noah, Jones (1/2 black, 1/2 Jew), Ne-Yo (1/2 black, 1/2 Chinese), Tiger Woods (1/2 black, 1/2 Thai), Vin Diesel, Alicia Keys (1/2 Black, 1/2 Italian) , Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, Lenny Kravitz to name a few.

They enrich the black pool and add to the experience. Barack Obama could not have achieved his success without the determination and drive from his mother and her maternal Irish American family history. Even Barack Obama's famous 1/2 black 1/2 Jewish sibling also had the benefit of a Jewish upbringing that led to his Ivy League education and success. However, Barack's less renowned 100% African siblings unfortunately did not have the same success.

Also, props to Michael for raising (by all accounts) smart, very well behaved and mannered, happy children. He was a very attentive parent and he also taught them history, art, and music himself.

They're not black, they're honey (think Mariah Carey). Remember, their mom is a very fair-skinned, blond haired, blue eyed women. I believe they are Michael's kids. They all resemble Michael as a young child. Prince (the oldest) has Michael's big, dark eyes and his pouty lips. He has Michael's swagger. Paris has features as well, but tends to look more like Debbie. The youngest looks just like a young Michael. Furthermore, comparisons of Michael's kids to all the other Jackson cousins are remarkably similar.

Actually Marlon is in charge of the family's real estate dealings and they already owned the property where the condos/hotel are to be built. I forget the name of the tropic island, but it appears to be a solid investment strategy! It beats them trying to go on tour together, leave the singing to Janet!

I will have to disagree about the drug issue and it being Michael's fault. The doctor or doctors should have known the safe levels of drugs and any interactions, especially when they are injected that is their job after all. When my husband returned from Iraq he was a zombie, being prescribed eleven different drugs, including blood pressure meds, anti-depressants, sleep aides, and an anti-psychotic, as well as pain killers. He couldn't think, eat, or function. In fact, he passed out twice from these medications or combinations of medications. I looked up the drugs and found interactions with all of them and then went to the nurse practioner and showed her the evidence that they were overdosing my husband. Recently something similar happened when they prescribed Naproxen through the VA when my husband has lung damage from war. It created a severe asthmatic reaction that took four months and three hospital stays to control. Being that they found nothing illegal or overdosing other that what the doctor gave in Michael's system, I would not term him a drug addict, I would term the doctor a murderer and an idiot.

We can't forget the talent and musical genius michael jackson was and brilliant entertainer , performer which he will always be in mind and hearts. I can't think of any other people to accept an award on his behalf should be his children. Even though this is a tough time for them to deal with in their lives.
