As far NATO and US is concerned they MUST pay their dues. All the money spent by Pakistan in a war that is not realy our war. I am against NATO supply but it seems our leaders do not have much room to manouver. It is fair to ask for fees. No fees no right of way, as simple as that.American politicians often mention the money they gave to Pakistan. We have done our math and Americans owe us more than 70 B USD. Money spent on the war effort and lost revenues is >80 B USD. What we got back is less than 10 B. Pay before you play, we as a nation think you owe us. Just remember, never owe to a Pathan, he will come after you sooner or later.

I see mnay Indians giving bad comments for Pakistan on matters that do not concern them directly. I see many Pakhinkis getting upset with those comments as a result. I think this tells exactly how misinformed people on both sides of the border are. This also tells how much work is needed to restore confidence among populace of these two great countries. Mistakes have been done in the past by both sides unfortunately due to often corrupt politicians who were not popluar in the respective countries anyways. I think a visionary leadership is needed in this part of the world to solve complex issues so that trust is restored among neighbors on both East and West of Pakistan. Foregin interventions have never been good for this region at any time in our shared history. Time to restire peace and it starts from individuals comming on these forums. Show your best behaviouor to your neighbours and be generous towards them as they say you can not change your neighbours, can we?

Either Pakistan is with westerm world to fight against the terrorism and also supposed to bear its part ...or they are with taliban (i.e. against western world)

Pakistan is such a country which being incapable to manage its so called sovereignty (it was inherently incapable being a sovereign country and still needs some 'jack ups/consents' from britain!!!)

It is just another way to term a 'failed state'.

Pakistan's argument has been that 'Taliban also has some sympathisers/credibility and regional presence there and it can't be overlooked and hence can't go against taliban head on!!!

(Real fact of the matter is that they are not interested in eliminating the polio bacteria from the world and rather want to safeguard it so that as per their convenience it spreads again!!!)

With same argument, Even osama has some sypathisers over there ............... Was the western world prepared give recognition to Osama ? absolutely NOT.

Pakistan has been black mailing on the argument that 'We won't be able to fight with Taliban and there is danger that our nukes would fall in Taliban's hands (or Pakistan would even stage manage the 'hand over' of nukes to taliban!!! ) And hence Pakistan is not interested to take Taliban head on!!!!

Then why the hell they are not handing over the same to NATO?

It would serve two purposes for them:-

1. Nato would get rid of Taliban without any hassles
2. And pakistan's fear are also over by that, and there is stable Afghanistan also!!!

But instead of all this, they just money !!! ... money and just money!!!
And the general tendency of pakistanis is to feel vindicated/solaced when there is terror tragedy in other sovereign states!!! This has been exhibited time and again!! and followed by fake condolences to apply salt on the wound!!!

If Taliban is cornered and are brought to the edge of extinction... even Taliban would learn a good lesson and fall in line ............ and co-operate with KArzai and Afghanistan !!!!

But it is difficult as there is open support from Pakistan to Taliban !!!

That's the another facet of the double game that Pakistan is playing !!!

USA is NOT to be blamed for anything in their country.

Has Pakistan ever said ... that 'Pakistn won't take moments rest untill the extremist are sorted out? ... NO .... instead in the guise of that they beg and have always been trying to win sympathy so that somebody pays tham!!!

And since they know that they are getting free money why would they bother to fight against militants? .... rather they would protect them else they are not left with anything to beg for!!!!
